  1. CFSCE has a Class B Permanent for a Capt/Capt MOS ID/Occupation 00341-01-FIELD SIGS, or 90024-GSO to commence on 01-DEC-2026 until 30-NOV-2029.Only personnel from the following Component/Sub-Component may apply for this position: Primary Reserve Force, Supplementary Reserve Force, Regular Force.

  4. Basic description of duties: 1. The SO to the C&E Museum provides administrative, ceremonial, and information management support primarily to the C&E Branch office at CFSC
    E. The incumbent will draft reports & returns, liaise with external agencies (regiments, squadrons, directorates, retired members, and volunteer organizations), assist with event planning and ceremonial affairs, provide support with financial matters, produce staff work, and manage a series of CIS platforms. Additionally, the SO to the C&E Museum will manage - on occasion - military personnel and oversee their career files. The position requires tact, professional bearing, and attention to detail. It is a high-visibility position entailing routine interaction with General Officers, COs, and senior staff. 2. Duties / Tasks a. Administer the Canadian Military Communications & Electronics Network (CMCEN) website; b. Manage the Branch Event Registration software (Wild Apricot, PayPal, etc.); c. Administer the Branch SharePoint Site; d. Provide Information Management oversight on all C&E Branch Network Drives (standardize naming conventions, enforce information structures, and conduct periodic back-ups); e. Assist in the staffing of major Event Requests, ceremonial affairs, and parades; f. Conduct general staff officer duties (preparing, drafting, editing and submitting correspondence); g. Edit / Update Branch Standing Orders; h. Manage the Strategic Outlook (major C&E Branch Event Tracker) and support event OPIs; i. Provide presentations and back-briefs on projects, events, historical matters, and ceremonies; j. Attend meetings, take minutes as required, and promulgate agendas / action item lists; k. Manage and prioritize day-to-day tasks for OJT / OJE personnel attached to the Branch Office; l. Provide logistical / administrative support for booking staff vehicles and office procurements; m. Assist in budgeting, managing Branch funds, issuing cheques, and tracking payments; and n. Perform any other duties as directed by the chain-of-command. SECONDARY DUTIES 1. All members employed within the CADTC formation will complete a minimum annual Number of 10 full or 20 part training days, a minimum periodic attendance of one duty period of every 60 days, and minimum essential activities, including the administrative and training requirements of the PRV for domestic operations tier 1, part 1, the IBTS mandated for CBG HQs and all external to CBGs (all trades), and mandatory training as determined by the ATA. 6. Once an applicant has been selected, the home unit must complete C of C concurrence in Monitor Mass. Res F members employed by CADTC on full-time Res Svc for a period of one year or more shall be posted to the CADTC PRL. Exceptions to this direction may be considered for those Res F members who contribute to HU activities and training. Such exceptions will be made on a case-by-case basis and shall be requested thru CoC to CADTC.
