  4. Basic description of duties: 5 Cdn Div HQ
    A. Principle desk officer for Indiv Trg Policy Reg & Res;
    B. Coordinate with CTC on the building of Div Level courses on the Army National Calendar (ANC), to included exported course serials;
    C. Coordinating issues with CTC regarding national courses;
    D. Work with Senior CSS trade advisors within 5 Cdn Div HQ to create plans and secure positions at National School to CSS training demands;
    E. Provide assistance to 3 MP Regt and 4 Health Svcs Group for Career and Army Centric trg;
    F. Monitor NC and prepare all 5 Cdn Div requirements for the AITC, attend AITC twice annually;
    G. Work closely with Units and CBG training cells to ensure accuracy for out year Trg plan;
    H. Work closely with CTC Foreign Military Out-Service Training (FMOST) for all of 5 Cdn Div candidates; I. Staff all PLARs for 5 Cdn Div pers; J. Coord with 5 Cdn Div ARes CWO on PRes priority list for CDA candidacies; K. Assist 5 Cdn Div HQ pers with individual training requirements; and L. Request nominations from Units/CBG for AOC, ATOC, ensuring all students meet prerequisite. Atlantic Battle School (ABSL) A. Manage unit budgets, including public funds allocations for training, travel, equipment, and sustainment; B. Forecast financial requirements for annual and in-year training cycles; C. Ensure compliance with DAOD financial policies and Treasury Board directives; D. Validate and approve claims, travel requests, and training related expenditures; E. Support cost estimates for all courses; F. Ensure accuracy of financial reporting and monthly reconciliation; G. Maintain oversight of all financial transactions processed by FSAs; H. Provide financial advice to CO, DCO, and OC HQ & Svcs; I. Develop financial controls to prevent errors, fraud, and misuse; and J. Support audit readiness and financial inspections.
