  3. Secondary requirements of position, as applic: a. An Operational Tour; b. Experience at unit level or higher Operation Centre; c. Knowledge of airfield operations, to include flight and ground requirements; d. Knowledge of CF financial administration procedures; e. Knowledge of the 19 Wing Mission, Vision and organization; f. Strong background in the overall RCAF mission; and g. Organizational Requirements: (1) The successful applicant may be required to work shiftwork including weekends and evenings and must be flexible in respect to hours of employment on occasion. (2) May be required to travel; (3) May be temporarily assigned other military duties; (4) Knowledge of Microsoft products including, but not limited to, Word, Excel, and SharePoint; (5) Strong communication skills, both written and verbal; (6) Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision; and (7) Confirmed aptitude to supervise and direct others.
  4. Basic description of duties: The PlansO duties are outlined as follows: a. Act as Ops Centre liaison on logistical/financial matters; b. Act as Ops Centre credit card holder, administering routine payment of unit bills; c. Coordinate 19 Wg SAR/AAR unit activities, locally and internationally; d. Advise CoC on SAR/AAR issues; e. Act as Ops Centre liaison for land use/environmental issues; f. Monitor, direct and coordinate 19 Wg Marine Section in their support of Wg activities; g. Assist L/PlansO in monitoring, directing and coordinating 19 Wg operations and airfield activities; h. Fill in as a DWO on an as needed basis to relieve manning shortages; i. Deploy as a member of DMSC in either an OIC or MSO capacity; j. Assist PlansO (LRP &FTR) in day to day administration of their duties; and k. Other duties as directed by Co
