  4. Basic description of duties: The Ops Plans 2 position is responsible to the 403 Sqn Operations Officer and is an integral part of the squadron activity planning. The Ops Plans 2 assists in managing squadron resources, and must provide advice, recommendations, and information where necessary to the D Ops Officer with respect to IBTS, Readiness levels, Course Messaging, CFTPO's, and major planning events (WOLF SOUTH, WILD WOLF, Op LENTUS etc.) The Ops Plans 2 must perform duties as laid out in this TOA, and carry out other duties assigned by the 403 Sqn Ops O and D Ops O. At times, the Ops Plans 2 will need to fill the role of D Ops O. Therefore, they must have an overall knowledge of squadron operations and should be able to offer applicable advice and make sound decisions. At all times the Ops Plans 2 shall lead by example through professionalism and job performance, as a representative of the 403 Sqn Operations Officer and by extension the 403 Sqn CO.
