C. Undergrad degree in related field or a combination of relevant post-secondary education, military and civilian qualifications and relevant experience in similar roles.
- Basic description of duties: The CTC Coord is responsible to the J5 Plans and is the subject matter expert in the coordination of training programs offered at CTCs where DND owned and CCO managed infrastructure can be leveraged for the conduct of training. The CTC Coord provides inputs to the J5 Plans for incorporation into larger RCSU Plans.
Duties include:
a. Assist with the planning and coordination of resources for training activities within their assigned AOR (eg, local program, RDA, NDA, CTC and COATS training);
b. Provide inputs to relevant J5 plans;
c. Schedule and assign facilities based upon submitted plans;
d. Provide recommendations and prioritize requests and requirements (eg, infrastructure improvements and contracts) for consideration by J5 Plans and liaison with applicable J4 staff;
e. Provide year-round support to managing CTC facilities usage;
f. Liaise with Support Base/Wing with regards to CTC readiness as related to infrastructure and services;
g. Ensure readiness of the in-region CTCs for summer operations; mitigate and advise J5 Plans on issues related to the readiness of the CTC, suggest related action, coordinate onsite requirements specific to their assigned CTCs, etc;
h. Draft and advise on the update of site specific CTC SOPs;
i. Assist with the preparation of joining instructions, course schedules and orders; and
j. Contribute to AARs and Lessons Learned observations to include the sharing of best practices

- Remarks: A. This is a permanent Class B position with a three year engagement IAW Ref A.
B. As per ref C, the member is responsible for contacting their home unit OR to request nomination for the REO. The home unit OR will conduct a staff check to ensure the member does not have any outstanding administrative or disciplinary action pending on their file prior to nomination. Nominations must be made in Monitor Mass a minimum of 48 hours prior to the competition closing date. Supporting documents must be received by the REO OPI no later than 2359 Pacific standard-time on the closing date.
C. The employment of Regular Force annuitants is strictly controlled within the CAF and must be approved by the VCDS. This permanent position is advertised as either an Option 1 or Option 2 Reserve Employment Opportunity; however preference will be given to suitably qualified non-annuitant applicants. In the absence of a suitably qualified COATS or Primary Reserve non-annuitant member, Regular Force annuitants will be considered and may be offered the position on an Option 1 contract basis with employment limitations on the number of days employed annually. Annuitant employment periods shall not exceed three years in the position at which time the position must be posted for competition through REO.

E.
