      Quals:
      Competency Remarks: Applicants must have read CANFORGEN 016/18 - CDS Direction on Professional Military Conduct prior to application. The following courses are also required: (a.) [WMT109] Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS); (b.) [WMT101] Preventing Harassment and Violence in the Workplace for Employees; and (c.) [DDN235] Discover Cyber Security.
      (a.) Good knowledge of RegF and PRes Admin and management policies; (b.) Good knowledge of staff procedures; (c.) Strong writing skills; (d.) Proficiency with MS Office suite; (e.) Strong understanding of individual training policies and procedures; (f.) Strong organizational skills and ability to efectivelly multi-task; (g.)   4. Basic description of duties: The RJOC WO provides leadership and oversight to the Watch Team in the Regional Joint Operations Centre. This role is responsible for managing team operations, maintaining situational awareness, and supporting 24/7 operational readiness in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The position ensures effective coordination, team performance, and the smooth functioning of all RJOC Watch activities. Key Responsibilities: (a.) Leadership & Team Management: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Watch personnel. Manage shift schedules, leave, training, and overall team performance while building a positive and effective team culture; (b.) Planning & Operations: Oversee daily planning, training, and readiness activities. Support the development of policies, orders, and contingency plans to ensure the RJOC can respond effectively to operational needs; (c.) Situational Awareness & Communication: Maintain strong awareness of ongoing operations and activities. Supervise the preparation of briefings, reports, and information products for senior leadership. Ensure timely and accurate communication across the team and with partner organizations; and (d.) Administration & Compliance: Manage administrative tasks including staffing, access control, supplies, and record keeping. Ensure the team meets all security, policy, and operational standards.
