- CANSOFCOM PRL has a Class B Temporary for a WO/WO MOS ID/Occupation 90000-ATR to commence on 01-JUL-2026 until 30-APR-2029.Only personnel from the following Component/Sub-Component may apply for this position: Primary Reserve Force, Supplementary Reserve Force, Regular Force.

(5) Experience using Microsoft Office Suite 2013;
(6) Experience using Guardian MITE with a TASM user role;
(7) Working knowledge of Monitor Mass;
(8) Enhanced interpersonal skills and ability to provide superior customer service to a variety of clients, both internal and external to CANSOFCOM;
(9) Must be able to deal with periods of stress because of deadlines, client inquiries, and unforeseen daily occurrences;
(10) Demonstrates competent written and verbal communication skills; and
(11) Must be available to meet the demands of the job, which usually entails 0800-1600 Mon - Fri, but may on occasion require extended hours and weekends, operational needs depending.
Applicants who demonstrate the following knowledge, skills, or experience may have an advantage:
(1) Working knowledge of CFTPO;
(2) Experience working in an IT&E setting at L1 level:
(3) Experience dealing with FMS Case, VCR process, MOU, and ITO process;
(4) Experience working in a TASM role;
(5) Experience preparing business planning requirements WRT IT&E at the L1 level;
(6) Experience working at CANSOFCOM;
(7) Must be willing to learn other material management systems utilized by CANSOFCOM
- Basic description of duties: (1) The Training Authority role is intended for Training Authority System Manager (TASM) staff who are responsible for course & data management on behalf of the Training Authority;
(2) Advise the CoC on all matters related to individual training, internal and external;
(3) Attend all CAF IT&E coordination conferences;
(4) Manage access to CAF courses through Guardian MITE, CFTPO, and/or other means, as required;
(5) Approve Guardian MITE user access and provide first line user support;
(6) Manage access to NATO courses and access to NSOU website;
(7) Manage request through DND Learn;
(8) Manage national qualifications and course codes for CANSOFCOM courses;
(9) Manage IT&E calendar and records, and coordination of external courses with Units S7 and external organizations on behalf of CANSOFCOM;
(10) Manage CFTPO for CAF training;
(11) In addition to the primary duties listed above, the TASM is responsible for all other duties as assigned by Ops O/DSM/DCO/CO;
(12) Manage NCM career Progression
(13) Assist in the tracking and management of Operations Centre duty and leave;
(14) Be prepared to act as the Liaison Officer / Duty Officer as required;
(15) Mentor all NCOs in the sqn and instruct on classes when needed;
(16) Provide forecasting for current established crses and other PD crses; and
(17) Enforce discipline, deportment and dress IAW the CSOTC policies and directives.
