- Basic description of duties: The Deputy Chief of Curriculum Development reports to the Chief of Curriculum Development and is responsible for the coordination of course documentation production, management of the College Documentation Management Group (CDMG), and assisting the Chief of Curriculum Development in the execution of assigned duties.
PRIMARY DUTIES:
1. Will manage the curriculum update tracker using the SharePoint Online platform;
2. Will conduct impact assessments of curriculum changes in order to establish updated priorities;
3. Will direct and monitor, on CCD's behalf, CDMG document processing priorities based upon priorities established in the curriculum tracker;
4. Will monitor and maintain awareness of overall progress of curriculum amendments throughout the curriculum management process;
5. Will oversee the backup of curriculum master files by CDMG;
6. Will initiate civilian staffing as necessary;
7. Will produce civilian performance evaluations;
8. May act as desk officer for course qualifications including conducting training documentation amendments and coordinating writing boards; and
9. Will manage training documentation and implement the Canadian Forces Individual Training and Education System (CFITES) and the Canadian Army Systems Approach to Training (ASAT) at the training establishment level.
