  1. RCSU CENTRAL has a Class B Permanent for a Capt/Capt MOS ID/Occupation 00232-13-CIC, or 00360-01-COATS-GS OFF to commence on 01-AUG-2026 until 31-JUL-2029.Only personnel from the following Component/Sub-Component may apply for this position: Cadet Org and Trg Service, Primary Reserve Force, Supplementary Reserve Force, Regular Force.

    A. Staff experience working at a RCSU or Formation HQ on a fulltime basis;
    B. Experience using Fortress;
    C. Demonstrated planning and organization experience;
    D. Experience in business planning and resource management;
    E. Experience working at CTC, in a Captain position; and
    F. Undergrad degree in related field or a combination of relevant post-secondary education, military and civilian qualifications and relevant experience in similar roles; and
  4. Basic description of duties: Plan, organize and supervise discretionary RDA at the zone, provincial and regional levels. Provide input into J5 training plans. Directly support the implementation of the CTC program. Select and supervise Cl 'A' staff assigned to training and/or administrative tasks related to the conduct of RDA training. Draft joining instructions, course schedules and operation orders. Forecast financial and material requirements to support RDA training and provide input into related business plans. Recommend directing staff and cadets for NDA and RDA training. Actively seek out ways to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of RDA training. Track significant incidents and work to mitigate future occurrences. Contribute to the sharing of best practices among national and regional HQ staffs responsible for NDA and RDA training policy and operations.   9. Remarks: A. Nominations must be made in Monitor Mass a minimum of 48 hours prior to the competition closing date. Supporting documents must be received by the REO OPI no later than 2359 Pacific standard time on the closing date; B. The employment of Regular Force annuitants is strictly controlled within the CAF and must be approved by the VCDS. This permanent position is advertised as either an Option 1 or Option 2 Reserve Employment Opportunity; however preference will be given to suitably qualified non-annuitant applicants. In the absence of a suitably qualified COATS or Primary Reserve non-annuitant member, Regular Force annuitants will be considered and may be offered the position on an Option 1 contract basis with employment limitations on the number of days employed annually. Annuitant employment periods shall not exceed three years in the position at which time the position must be posted for competition through REO; C. The following are required as conditions of this reserve service and must be obtained prior to the commencement of service: 1) A valid Police Records Check (PRC) and Vulnerable Sector Screening (VSS), 2) A valid medical, 3) Meet dental standards, and 4) Reliability status; H.
