- Basic description of duties: Primary Responsibilities:
Instruct and Mentor Junior NCM Students - The primary responsibility of this job is to instruct and mentor junior NCM students. This includes assessing student performance, teaching engineer doctrine, theory, and procedures, and debriefing students on performance.
Key Duties:
Observe and Evaluate Students' Work - This involves observing and evaluating students' work to determine progress and identify areas for improvement.
Establish Clear Objectives - Establish clear objectives for all lessons and communicate those objectives to students.
Lesson Plan Development - Read training plan EOs and teaching points to support lesson plan development.
Adapt Teaching Methods - Adapt teaching methods and instructional materials to meet students' varying needs, abilities, and experience.
Support Courses - Support courses through assigning and grading class work and homework.
Test Preparation and Administration - Be prepared to prepare and administer written, oral, and performance tests and issue grades in accordance with training plans.
Remedial Programs - Prepare and implement remedial programs for students requiring extra help.
CFSME Counselling Process - Implement and support the CFSME counselling process for testing failures.
ECR Process Participation - Actively partake in the ECR process to develop recommendations for course revision, development, or elimination.
Instructional Program Development - Collaborate with other squadrons and CFSME instructors in the development of instructional programs.
Verify Learning Materials - Verify that books, materials, and supplies for lessons have been ordered to support learning.

5. All members employed within the CADTC formation will complete a minimum annual Number of 10 full or 20 part training days, a minimum periodic attendance of one duty period of every 60 days, and minimum essential activities, including the administrative and training requirements of the PRV for domestic operations tier 1, part 1, the IBTS mandated for CBG HQs and all external to CBGs (all trades), and mandatory training as determined by the ATA.
6. Once an applicant has been selected, the home unit must complete C of C concurrence in Monitor Mass. Res F members employed by CADTC on full-time Res Svc for a period of one year or more shall be posted to the CADTC PRL. Exceptions to this direction may be considered for those Res F members who contribute to HU activities and training. Such exceptions will be made on a case-by-case basis and shall be requested thru CoC to CADTC.
