- 37 CBG HQ has a Class B Permanent for a Capt/Capt MOS ID/Occupation 90024-GSO to commence on 07-AUG-2026 until 06-AUG-2029.Only personnel from the following Component/Sub-Component may apply for this position: Primary Reserve Force, Supplementary Reserve Force, Regular Force.

- Basic description of duties:
A. The Arctic Response Company Group (ARCG) Operations Officer (OpsO) is a member of the 37 CBG HQ staff. On activation of the ARCG for an exercise or operation, the ARCG OpsO will normally be assigned to the ARCG HQ by means of CFTPO task and will be responsible to the Land Component Commander (LCC)/Officer Commanding the ARCG for the duration of the task. The ARCG OpsO may also be assigned to operations duties in an LCC HQ or the TBG HQ by means of CFTPO task when the nature of an exercise or operation so requires.
B. Primary duties of the ARCG OpsO are:
(1) Attending all initial, main and final planning conferences for exercises or operations involving the ARCG;
(2) The detailed planning of all stand-alone exercises or operations conducted by the ARCG;
(3) As the ARCG forms one of the coys of the 37 CBG Territorial Battalion Group (TBG), in conjunction with and based on direction from the TBG DCO, the detailed planning of ARCG participation in TBG exercises and operations;
(4) The detailed planning of ARCG involvement in broader Fmn/TF exercises or operations;
(5) In conjunction with the 37 CBG G3 IT, developing an annual plan of all ARCG-specific individual training courses delivered within the Bde;
(6) Coordinating the delivery of all ARCG-specific individual training courses within the Bde, including maintaining close liaison with unit operations staffs where such courses are delivered by units in LHQ locations;
(7) In conjunction with the 37 CBG G3 IT, identifying requirements and coordinating nominations for winter/arctic-related specialty courses required by ARCG personnel;
(8) In conjunction with the 37 CBG G3 Ops, identifying requirements for ammunition and pyrotechnics required for ARCG exercises and operations;
(9) In conjunction with the 37 CBG G3 Ops, identifying requirements for field rations required for ARCG exercises and operations;
(10) In conjunction with the 37 CBG G3 and G4, identifying requirements for stores, equipment and vehicles beyond normal holdings when required for the conduct of ARCG exercises and operations;
(11) In conjunction with the 37 CBG G4, identifying requirements for POL products required for ARCG exercises and operations;
(12) Submitting reports and returns as required, including detailed after action reports, for all ARCG activities;
(13) In conjunction with the 37 CBG G3 Ops, initiate land use agreements when required for ARCG training activities; and
(14) Day-to-day supervision of the ARCG CQMS and oversite of the storage, accounting, control, security, care and maintenance of all stores, equipment, vehicles, ammunition, pyrotechnics, field rations, POL products and other commodities permanently or temporarily held by the ARC

C. The ARCG OpsO shall perform such other duties as may be assigned by the 37 CBG G5.
