Demonstrated experience in the procurement process, knowledge of various procurement/contracting strategies and experience writing contractual documents such as Statements of Work (SOW) or Requests for Proposal (RFP);

- Basic description of duties: The incumbent of the Technical Authority Support Officer (TAS O) position supports Technical Authorities (TAs) across the 2 CAD enterprise to analyse, capture and translate operational requirements into procurement/contractual effects.
Overall Duties
a. Support TAs across the 2 CAD enterprise at the L2, L3, L4 and L5 levels to analyse, capture and translate operational requirements into procurement and contractual effects;
b. Communicate with 2 CAD stakeholders to understand their operational objectives in order to capture operational requirements in TA procurement/contracting documents to include but not limited to: Statements of Work (SOW), Requests for Information (RFI), and Requests for Proposals (RFPs);
c. Liaise with Contracting cells at Wings and at 2 CAD HQ to ensure all TA documents are completed to required standards such that minimum or nil corrections are required by the contracting cells;
d. Supervise one AS04 public servant employee who will assist the TAs;
e. Capture and present Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to senior leaders and transmit them for inclusion in reports or dashboards;
f. Possible travel to units, based on incumbents' availability, as required to directly communicate with stakeholders as directed by the Chain of Command (CoC);
g. Undertake formal and informal professional development to assure the member has the technical and soft skills required to efficiently and effectively execute their duties; and
h. Assist the 2 CAD Training Support and Innovation Directorate with tasks, as requested.
