RCSU ATLANTIC has a Class B Permanent for a Cpl/Cpl MOS ID/Occupation 00359-01-COATS-GS NCM, or 90000-ATR to commence on 01-JUN-2026 until 31-MAY-2029.Only personnel from the following Component/Sub-Component may apply for this position: Cadet Org and Trg Service, Primary Reserve Force, Supplementary Reserve Force, Regular Force.

      This position is established at the rank of Cpl. Applicants who are one substantive rank lower, or one rank higher who are willing to relinquish their rank, may apply but will only be considered if there are no suitable applicants at the substantive rank.
    2. MOS ID: 00359-01-COATS-GS NCM, or 90000-ATR
      In the absence of a qualified COATS member, a Primary Reserve Force member may be considered for the position with the condition that the member completes a component transfer to COATS. Limited options for a member to remain in the Primary Reserve Force with a posting to CJCR or attached posting from their home unit may be possible under the administration and approval of CJCR.

    A. Prior experience working in support of the Canadian Cadet Organizations.

Basic description of duties: The Movements Clerk is responsible to the Movements Supervisor for making travel arrangements including ground transport and commercial air bookings for cadet and escort staff for all training. Duties include: - Driving and operating vehicles and equipment. - Issue Travel Identification Numbers. - Ensure proper authorizations are in place and arrange all cadet and escort staff travel requirements. - Respond to queries from units and staff regarding travel arrangements. - Maintain Travel Authorization Number register.

  9. Remarks: A. This is a permanent Class B position with a three year engagement IAW Ref A. B. As per ref C, the member is responsible for contacting their home unit OR to request nomination for the REO. The home unit OR will conduct a staff check to ensure the member does not have any outstanding administrative or disciplinary action pending on their file prior to nomination. Nominations must be made in Monitor Mass a minimum of 48 hours prior to the competition closing date. Supporting documents must be received by the REO OPI no later than 2359 Pacific standard-time on the closing date. C. The employment of Regular Force annuitants is strictly controlled within the CAF and must be approved by the VCDS. This permanent position is advertised as either an Option 1 or Option 2 Reserve Employment Opportunity; however preference will be given to suitably qualified non-annuitant applicants. In the absence of a suitably qualified COATS or Primary Reserve non-annuitant member, Regular Force annuitants will be considered and may be offered the position on an Option 1 contract basis with employment limitations on the number of days employed annually. Annuitant employment periods shall not exceed three years in the position at which time the position must be posted for competition through REO. D. Applicants must provide a cover letter and resume describing in detail specifically how the applicant satisfies each of the required experience, quals and secondary requirements and including the following: 1) Security clearance expiry date; 2) Dates available; 3) Contact numbers at work and home; 4) Confirmation of whether or not member is in receipt of a pension under the CFSA attributable to Reg F svc; 5) Email contact information for two work references; Members current military supervisor may also be contacted. 6) Copy of their MPRR; 7) Supporting documentation pertinent to the position. E. In addition to the required cover letter and resume, applicants may choose to submit additional supporting documentation (e.g. performance evaluations, course reports, letters, and awards) for consideration. Information in those documents will be considered by the selection board and HQ CO/RCSU CO (employing authority) to determine the applicant's match to the required experience and qualifications and secondary requirements for the position, and their past performance and potential.
