  1. 5 Cdn Div TC has a Class B Permanent for a MWO/MWO MOS ID/Occupation 90001-CBTA to commence on 04-MAY-2026 until 03-MAY-2029.Only personnel from the following Component/Sub-Component may apply for this position: Primary Reserve Force, Supplementary Reserve Force, Regular Force.

      IAW ref A, applicants who are one rank lower or one rank higher may apply, however will only be considered in those exceptional circumstances where no other qualified candidate is available. As CWO is a controlled rank, if selected, mbr will be required to relinquish rank for the period of employment.

  3. Secondary requirements of position, as applic:
    A. Experience using Monitor MASS, CFTPO would be beneficial;
    B. Knowledge of Disciplinary Investigations essential;
    C. Knowledge of training conducted on Leadership Courses and Basic Military Courses preferred;
    D. Knowledge of Training Plans preferred;
    E. Prior experience as CSM in a Training Company would be beneficial;
    F. Knowledge of the JAIMS system;
    G. Knowledge of NCM professional development models (NCM DPs) and career courses; and,
    H. Operational experience an asset.
  4. Basic description of duties:
    A. Conduct Disciplinary Investigations as required within the training company;
    B. Enforce disciplinary policies and administrative procedures regarding staff and training;
    C. Coordinate NCM development within the training company;
    D. Provide sound and timely advice to the OC on training, personnel, discipline and administration of the training company;
    E. Act as Senior Instructor within the company to develop instructional staff; and,
    F. Unit secondary duties as assigned.

The work environment includes field and garrison duties, as well as occasional employment in other geographic locations for limited periods. Training Centre operations require personnel to conduct overnight duties in both field and garrison environments, as well as occasional evening and weekend work. The general work schedule is 0800-1600 hrs; D. Applicants in the geographical area of the employing unit will be given priority; and, E.
