Courses:
Quals: Prior to taking up their duties, the candidate must meet the security requirements applicable to members serving with the Canadian Cadet Program, including obtaining the appropriate security clearance, the Police Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Screening (PRC / VSS). Any employment offer will be conditional on the certification that the chosen candidate meets the required security standards. In accordance with the Military Human Resources Records Procedures (MHRRP), the member's home unit will be contacted to ensure that the member has no administrative or disciplinary action pending against him.

- Basic description of duties:
A. Manage all aviation products, including purchasing, warehousing, shipping, receiving, stock control, and disposal of
obsolete stock and equipment;
B. Receive, handle, and prepare items for shipment;
C. Maintain the Aviation Maintenance System (AMS) with aviation products;
D. Keep records for controlled aviation products for audits and tracking;
E. Incorporate safety considerations into all job aspects and support the unit's safety program;
F. Integrate environmental practices into all job aspects and support the unit's environmental policy;
G. Promote a workplace free of harmful behavior and harassment, supporting the departmental harassment policy;
H. Uphold ethical behavior in all job aspects and support the department's ethics policy;
I. Lead assigned Non-Commissioned Member (NCM) and civilian staff, managing resources efficiently and ethically;
J. Manage, track, and store aircraft spare parts inventories according to regulations and policies;
K. Maintain the aircraft parts inventory software system for accurate tracking and adequate inventory levels;
L. Procure aircraft parts as needed, following regulations and government procurement policies;
M. Maintain separate storage for unserviceable and quarantined parts according to standards and policies;
N. Identify repair facilities and contractors for aircraft parts;
O. Package aircraft parts for shipping, ensuring safe handling of hazardous products;
P. Operate light vehicles and forklifts as required;
Q. Tow glider trailers on highways and in urban areas, including disassembly, loading, and reassembly of gliders;
R. Ensure current Safety Data Sheets (SDS) are provided for all hazardous products entering the workplace;

D. This is a permanent Class B position for a period of three years, with the possibility of extension for up to an additional three years, in accordance with Ref
D. The successful applicant will be employed by the Eastern RCSU. Initially, they will occupy the position of Air Operations Material Management Technician (MMT) but may be assigned other duties as directed by their supervisor.
E. Members are responsible for contacting their parent unit to request a nomination under this REO. Prior to submitting a nomination, the unit must ensure that the member has no outstanding administrative or disciplinary actions on record. F. The employment of Regular Force pensioners within the CAF is strictly controlled and must be approved by the VCDS. Although this permanent position is advertised as either an Option 1 or Option 2 Reserve employment opportunity, preference will be given to qualified non-pensioner applicants. In the absence of a suitably qualified member from the COATS or the Primary Reserve, Regular Force pensioners may be considered and offered the position under Option 1 terms and conditions, which include annual employment day limitations. Periods of employment for a pensioner must not exceed three years in the same position. Upon completion of that period, the position must be re-advertised through the Reserve Employment Opportunity (REO) process.
