  3. Secondary requirements of position, as applic: a. Experience with MS Office software applications especially WORD, EXCEL and PowerPoint; b. Knowledge CAF and RCAF HR policies and management processes; c. Experience as a staff in an Air Reserve Flight or Orderly Room; and d. Effective research and oral communication skills.
  4. Basic description of duties: The RCAF Academy Det Aldershot Senior HRA's (Sr HRA) primary areas of responsibility include providing oversight to the human resource (HR) management functions required for the efficient functioning of the RCAF Detachment; and providing orderly room HR support to staff and trainees/students. Sr HRA may perform other duties as required. The RCAF Academy Det Aldershot Sr HRA is responsible and accountable to the RCAF Academy Chief Clerk (CClk) for: a. providing HR support in a timely and efficient manner; b. ensuring HR Administration is IAW current unit SOPs and CAF/DND policies and directives; c. identifying deficiencies and provide viable solutions; d. managing under the CHRA's supervision all disciplinary issues concerning the behavior and comportment of subordinates; e. mentoring subordinates; f. advising the CClk regarding issues that could affect training. g. matters relating to the organization and assist with coordination of recruit administrational issues; h. matters relating to pre-course readiness state for new incoming candidates; i. liaising with applicable organizations IOT support D-BMQ trg; j. assisting in course administration through use of applicable software programs and submissions of reports; k. preparing, reviewing, and delivery of different briefs; l. reviewing candidates' administrative files, ensuring they are properly maintained at all times; and m. performing additional duties as required by the Co
