Secondary requirements of position, as applic: Preffered Qualifications: - Experience as a Section Commander is an asset - Having good communication skills and being able to manage well under stress is essential. As an instructor their role is to teach and mentor students on the responsibilities of their position. They are responsible for instructing lessons on basic infantry skills and tactics, such as navigation, weapon handling, marksmanship and fieldcraft, as well as offensive, defensive and patrolling tactics. They are to enforce discipline within the section and platoon. As an instructor you will act as an ARSO for conventional range, be prepared to act as a range 2IC, assist and support the Course Officer and Course Warrant Officer with administration, assess/debrief students based on their performance, and finally develop and mentor their Section 2I

  4. Basic description of duties: GENERAL: The Sgt reports to the CSM C Coy and is responsible for supporting and giving instructions to students on course. PRIMARY DUTIES: The Senior NCO Instructor is an entry level Sergeant job. This job is performed in a field and garrison environment that supports the Land element. The primary responsibility of this job is to instruct and mentor junior NCM students. The tasks of this job are to assess student performance, to teach infantry doctrine and theory, to instruct on infantry tactics, techniques, and procedures, and to debrief students on performance. SECONDARY DUTIES: 1. Duty for the unit or the base. 2. Take on the work of the WO if needed.

All members employed within the CADTC formation will complete a minimum annual Number of 10 full or 20 part training days, a minimum periodic attendance of one duty period of every 60 days, and minimum essential activities, including the administrative and training requirements of the PRV for domestic operations tier 1, part 1, the IBTS mandated for CBG HQs and all external to CBGs (all trades), and mandatory training as determined by the ATA. 6. Once an applicant has been selected, the home unit must complete C of C concurrence in Monitor Mass. Res F members employed by CADTC on full-time Res Svc for a period of one year or more shall be posted to the CADTC PRL. Exceptions to this direction may be considered for those Res F members who contribute to HU activities and training. Such exceptions will be made on a case-by-case basis and shall be requested thru CoC to CADTC.
