  4. Basic description of duties:
    A. Adhere to the CO's and higher commanders' intent and maintain alignment with organizational priorities and policies;
    B. Execute direction promptly and accurately in support of the chain of command;
    C. Lead, mentor, and supervise staff, candidates, and support personnel in garrison, field, and distance learning environments;
    D. Represent the company professionally and maintain high standards of discipline, dress, deportment, and conduct;
    E. Communicate progress, issues, and recommendations to supervisors in a timely, accurate manner;
    F. Manage administrative, disciplinary, and welfare matters of personnel within the Ops & Trg cell;
    G. Conduct intake/end take actions, prepare PCNs, maintain trainee files, and produce required reports and AARs;
    H. Be prepared to act as instructor, course staff, or advisor as required; I. Plan, coordinate, and execute training in accordance with QS, TP, orders, and directives; J. Coordinate instructors, facilities, ranges, equipment, and support resources for training activities; K. Update and maintain the unit training calendar and ensure synchronization with supporting units; L. Evaluate training effectiveness and recommend improvements to support operational requirements; M. Build, update, and maintain course structures in MITE and Guardian IAW approved QS/TPs; N. Validate course serials, learning days, instructor allocations, and resource requirements prior to publication; O. Maintain accurate prerequisites, student caps, outcomes, assessment structures, and scheduling details; P. Identify discrepancies in course builds and coordinate timely corrections with relevant stakeholders; Q. Maintain version control, documentation, and change logs for course programming; R. Support annual training forecast and assist with unit programming inputs for the UATP; S. Manage all unit inputs into CFTPO for taskings, course staffing, and external support requests; T. Track personnel selections, readiness, prerequisites, and administrative compliance; U. Maintain accurate and auditable CFTPO trackers, reports, and tasking summaries for command review; V. Conduct analysis to identify staffing gaps, overtasking, and readiness concerns; W. Liaise with Bde/Div G3/G7, external training centres, and supported organizations to resolve discrepancies and coordinate adjustments; X. Produce tasking justifications, nomination lists, readiness summaries, and risk assessments as directed; Y. Ensure members tasked via CFTPO are administratively prepared (security, medical, and qualifications); and, Z. Support travel coordination, reporting instructions, and tasking follow-up requirements.
