  1. CFB Cold Lake has a Class A for a WO/WO MOS ID/Occupation 00003-01-NCM, or 90000-ATR to commence on 16-MAR-2026 until 16-MAR-2035.Only personnel from the following Component/Sub-Component may apply for this position: Regular Force, Primary Reserve Force, Supplementary Reserve Force.

      Sgt eligible for immediate promotion to the substantive rank of WO will be considered and Sgts not eligible for immediate promotion to the substantive rank of WO will also be considered should there be no other qualified applicants.   3. Secondary requirements of position, as applic: This is a Class A (part time) position that requires a minimum commitment of five (5) working days per month.
  4. Basic description of duties: NOTE: REMOTE EMPLOYMENT IS NOT AUTHORIZED FOR THIS POSITION. 1. When required, fill in for the WSO and attend JTF(W) Force Protection and Security Working Group to represent 4 Wing; 2. Be a member of the 4 Wing Security Council (WSC); 3. When required, fill in for the WSO and be a member of the Fighter Operational Integration Working Group (FOIWG) Security Sub-working group; 4. Assisting the WSO with the following tasks: 5. Maintain and revise the Wing Security Orders (WSOs) 6. Identify, propose, and (if applicable) provide oversight on physical projects or policy changes to improve security on 4 Wing; 7. Provide educational briefs to 4 Wing members about security requirements and policies; 8. Coordinate activities of the WSC that intersect with infrastructure projects with the Wing Infrastructure Management Council (WIMC); 9. Liaise with 11 MP Flt and 1 MP Sqn and Commissionaires on physical security issues and security monitoring issues at 4 Wing; 10. Coordinate future security requirements with Hornet Extension Program (HEP) Security officers and CF-35 security positions, both on and off 4 Wing; 11. Coordinate with WISSO on IT security concerns; 12. Coordinate with SAP/SCIF managers and COMCO personnel on security matters with SDAs, SCIFs, SAP/Fs, and COMSEC; 13. Coordinate with RP Ops (Det Cold Lake) on infrastructure security and projects to improve physical security; 14. Coordinate with OC RTF on WASF concerns and WASF involvement in security; 15. Coordinate security issues to do with munitions and explosives with the Wing Explosives Safety Officer; 16. Coordinate the prioritization of personnel security clearance upgrades; and
