  3. Secondary requirements of position, as applic: In addition to the above listed primary requirements, the selected applicant will be held to the PaCE standards of a Maj.
  4. Basic description of duties: Support Chief Army Doctrine, by overseeing and facilitating the development and production process for Army Doctrine publications, in conjunction with ADC desk officers, OPIs and the Army Publishing Office (APO). The position is to facilitate the doctrine production process, from the drafting to the distribution across the Canadian Army and CA
    F. The position is also responsible for overseeing and coordinating doctrine standardisation with NATO through the tracking and coordination of the Standardisation Agreement ratification and promulgation process. PRIMARY DUTIES 1. Conduct the duties and responsibilities as outlined in the CA's Doctrine Development and Production publication. 2. Assist ADC desk officers and publication OPIs in the development and production of their Army doctrine publications and related materials, acting as the facilitator between the ADC desk officer, Chief ADC, the approving authority and the Army Publishing Office (APO). This includes being the subject matter expert (SME) on Army doctrine development and production process and will produce and maintain doctrine development related orders, directive, manuals, and SOPs. 3. Oversee and guide the doctrine production process from preparation of the approval draft to the distribution of the publication, working in direct support of the ADC desk officer and APO manager. The officer will staff the approval draft from Chief ADC to the approval authority and, once approved, back to the desk officer and the APO. 4. Manage, as the Branch Information Manager (BIM), the Canadian Army Doctrine Library (CADL) and any other ADC maintained doctrine-related sites, including the maintaining the ADC publication tracker. This will also include acting as the CTAT SME and ensure ADC remains compliant with CTAT policy and directives. 5. Plan and coordinate public affairs support for the issue of products, including publications, in conjunction with CADTC HQ unit Public Affairs Officer (PAO). 6. Prepare and staff an annual, or as required, CANARMYGEN listing published doctrine over the past six-month period or other doctrine related information that needs communicating. 7. OPI for doctrine-related lessons-learned reports, feedback or other doctrine related correspondence from the Field Force, and any NATO or allied doctrine inquiries. 8. ADC point of contact (POC) for all NATO documentation, including staffing of outgoing correspondence to the Canadian Joint Warfare Centre. As POC to CJOC/CJWC, Production Coord will coordinate reponses to custodianship and national OPI responsibilities for all NATO STANAGs with the appropriate ADC desk officers, ensuring each NATO land-related STANAG has an assigned ADC OPI 9. ADC POC/Coord for all ABCANZ documentation, including staffing of outgoing correspondence to the Canadian Army Land Warfare Centre. 10. Act as Secretary to the annual Army Doctrine Development Board (ADDB) and undertake the administrative support as well of conduct of the meeting and related matters. Monitor progress of the Army Doctrine Development Directive and maintain an up-to-date version of the work plan annex for that document. 11. Ensure publications that are complete in the production process are distributed in accordance with the distribution list and are posted to the CADL. 12. Ensure copies of obsolete doctrine are archeived on the CADL. 13. Post approved doctrine drafts to the Approved Doctrine website and ensure a link is established on the CADL for that subject publication that takes the reader to the approved draft. Once the doctrine has been published by the APO and placed on the CADL, delete the approved draft version and the splash page on CADL. 14. Other related duties as assigned by the CoC
