  4. Basic description of duties:
    A. The primary role of the Plans Flight Logistics Officer is to lead, organize and facilitate all logistics related items for 14 Wing Exercises and Operational deployments. They are to act as the main point of contact for all administrative requirements for DetComds, deployed members, the Plans Flight planners and CO 14 OSS. They are responsible for coordinating and managing all logistical support related to deployments supported by 14 Wing cradle to grave for each deployment. This includes planning movement of personnel and equipment, ensuring timely supply and sustainment, and working closely with maintenance and operations teams to keep deployments on track. The role also involves tracking logistics activities, supporting post-deployment reviews, and helping develop contingency plans to support short-notice taskings. This position is expected to take a proactive approach, ensuring that logistics requirements are identified early and actioned efficiently to support mission success.
    B. Standard working hours are 0800 to 1600, Monday through Friday; however, the successful candidate may occasionally be required to work outside these hours to meet operational needs. Temporary Duty (TD) to international locations may be required periodically;
