- Basic description of duties: GENERAL:
The ATIG Training Initiatives Officer reports to the C-ATIG and is responsible to manage the effective and efficient application of CAF IT&E System doctrine, principles and processes within the C
A. The main tasks are to analyze PME, Indvidual and collective training and education issues, provide input to strategic guidance, directives, or doctrine affecting Professional Development and IT&E systems, and promote relevant personnel development innovation.
PRIMARY DUTIES
The ATIG Training Initiatives Officer will:
a. Represent unique perspectives of Army Reserve service in development of CA and CAF professional development policies and doctrine.
b. Advance strategic guidance, directives or doctrine regarding PD (Employment Experience, Self-development, and Training, & Education).
c. Synchronize and support PME, IT, and CT initiatives/activities in collaboration with ARes.
d. Mentor, develop, and advise ARes TDOs in their occupational-related competencies/career progression within the CA.
e. Support CCADTC training modernization efforts towards an effective, efficient, and optimized system of systems.
f. Promote Human Performance Improvement and innovations for CA training interventions.
g. Advance the digitalization efforts for personnel development processes within the CAF and CA Organizational Learning ecosystem.
h. Provide Army input into CAF and CA Professional Development/IT&E Governance.
i. Maintain assigned Pol & Doc responsibilities.
j. Research draft briefs, position papers, and presnetations on behalf of C-ATI

k. Plan, coordinate, and assist with meetings, working groups, and conferences.
l. Communicate PD initiatives to the Land Force.
m. Section Coord duties as assigned by Chief Army Training Initiatives Group including information management activities, financial accountabilities, and ATIG reporting (ATA Synch, CUB) slide inputs.

All members employed within the CADTC formation will complete a minimum annual Number of 10 full or 20 part training days, a minimum periodic attendence of one duty period of every 60 days, and minimum essential activities, including the administrative and training requirements of the PRV for domestic operations tier 1, part 1, the IBTS mandated for CBG HQs and all external to CBGs (all trades), and mandatory training as determined by the ATA.
