- Basic description of duties: GENERAL:
The G4 DRMIS MM Centre of Excelence is responsible to the CADTC G4 Ops 2 and CADTC subordinate formations and units for day-to-day co-ordination of Material Management activities including stocktaking and training. The G4 DRMIS CoE provides advice for MM and enforces policies and guidelines on Materiel Attestiation (MA), to include: Annual verifications; SNAC Verifications; Quarterly weapons verifications, etc.
PRIMARY DUTIES
- Monitor CADTC and subordinate formations' and units' DRMIS Material Management activities, DRMIS data entry as required, and provide DRMIS technical expertise and guidance;
- Maintain a skilled level of knowledge and technical ability of DRMIS Material Management functions;
- Maintain a current level of knowledge of regulations, orders and directives applicable to the practice of Material Management and procurement;
- Coordinate and conduct DRMIS training to CADTC and its formations and units
- Fulfill the role as the CADTC DRMIS Centre of Excellence (COE). Provide advice and direction to CADTC subordinate formations and units on all aspects of DRMIS functionality, accessibility, training and communiques, with support from the CA HQ DRMIS COE and the CADTC G4 Branch staff;
- Maintain compliance with MM and DRMIS policy as well as confirm and advise subordinate formations/units to do the same;
- Review and staffing of equipment establishment change requests and material authorization requests in conjunction with G4 Contracts and Supply; and
- Understand, follow and promote the principles and obligations stated in the Statement of Defence Ethics.
Assist G4 Ops 2 with the following:
- Submission of CADTC G4 reports and returns, to include the coordination, collection, review, and compilation of the Materiel Accountability Action Plan (MAAP) and Materiel Attestation (MA) letters from subordinate formations and units;
- Provision of logistics advice for CADTC Level 2 and Level 3 organizations;
- Conduct staff and technical inspections of CADTC units; and
- Supporting G4 Ops 2 as required, with procurement services for CADTC HQ.
Co-ordination and liaison with, but not limited to, the following internal agencies:
- All CADTC branches and ATA staff; and
- All CADTC formations, centers and units.
Co-ordination and liaison with, but not limited to the following external agencies:
- Materiel management, DRMIS, and other logistics staff within the CA HQ and NDHQ; and
- Supporting divisions and base logistics staff and organizations.
- Complete staff duties within CADTC G4 mandated areas of responsibilities.

5. All members employed within the CADTC formation will complete a minimum annual Number of 10 full or 20 part training days, a minimum periodic attendence of one duty period of every 60 days, and minimum essential activities, including the administrative and training requirements of the PRV for domestic operations tier 1, part 1, the IBTS mandated for CBG HQs and all external to CBGs (all trades), and mandatory training as determined by the ATA.
