- Basic description of duties: GENERAL: The Senior Staff Officer/EA to the DComd (Res) (SSO/EA DCOMD) is responsible for the daily administration and coordination of the DComd CADTC (Res) and their key staff.
PRIMARY DUTIES
1. Maintain and de-conflict DComd CADTC (Res) and staff collective calendars.
2. Co-ordinate DComd CADTC (Res) and staff daily activities and manage their requirements to include:
a. Co-ordinate travel requirements IAW TB requirements;
b. Manage receipt, and handling of correspondence;
c. Staffing of correspondence as directed by the DComd (Res) and staff; and
d. Provide assistance and guidance on administrative matters when required to.
3. Coordinate DComd and staff participation and preparation in conferences.
4. Responsible for the preparation and conduct of conferences in support of CADTC, namely Army Training Council, Comd CADTC SPS and Res WGs as required.
5. Research and draft briefs, position papers and presentations on behalf of the DComd and staff.
6. Plan, coordinate and assist with the conduct of the Annual CADTC ARes Succession Board and ARes Selection Board, Complete and submit the approved board results to CA HQ ARes Succession Planners on behalf of the DComd.
7. Assist the DComd in their responsibilities as CADTC Home Station OPI, including the Cl A LCol posting plot.
8. Liaise on behalf of the DComd and staff with lateral, higher and CADTC OPIs and staff as required.
9. Coord admin of Cl A pay sheets or Cl B Res Svc as required for the team.
10. Perform any additional tasks as directed by DComd (Res) and COS Res.
11. Function will sometimes require duty on weekends and after hours.

All members employed within the CADTC formation will complete a minimum annual Number of 10 full or 20 part training days, a minimum periodic attendence of one duty period of every 60 days, and minimum essential activities, including the administrative and training requirements of the PRV for domestic operations tier 1, part 1, the IBTS mandated for CBG HQs and all external to CBGs (all trades), and mandatory training as determined by the ATA.
