- Basic description of duties: Working in conjunction with the COS and unit COs:
1. Enable CFJOSG Unit COs on Command centric unit level issues;
2. Liaise with CFJOSG COS on staff level Formation issues;
3. Liaise with CJOC staff for institutional processes, including civ and mil HR, business planning, routine and unique reporting requirements;
4. Act as the final level of review prior to issues/briefings/documents/orders being brought forward for CFJOSG Comd approval;
5. Manage Formation operational directives (OD);
6. Coordinate the representation of the Formation for assigned outreach presentations or working groups;
7. Chair the Formation Honours and Awards Board;
8. Coordinate the Formation Command Councils on a bi-annual (or as required) basis;
9. Advise Comd CFJOSG on issues associated with personnel and business management;
10. Mentor HQ staff; and
11. Any other tasks, assigned or implied by Comd CFJOS
