Competency Remarks:

(1) Working knowledge of the CAF and Government of Canada acquisition processes;
(2) Conduct and manage the low dollar value of supplies necessary for the maintenance and support of 402 Sqn aircraft and associated shop maintenance;
(3) Assist and carry out inventory checks of unit's SLocs and 402 Sqn storage facilities with SLoc holders according to the cyclical stocktaking requirements communicated by 17 MSS CSU;
(4) Assist and educate Sqn SLoc holders on responsibilities and processes required of the role.
(5) Guide squadron members in appropriate supply documentation based on materiel requirements.
(6) Knowledge of Air Force Organization and Establishment;
(7) Working knowledge of Monitor Mass;
- Basic description of duties: The Supply Manager position is employed in an office environment and supports the Air element. The primary responsibility is commodity management. The main tasks are to assist with the management acquisition process; assist in managing the procurement of materiel through COLOG and Foreign Military Sales Order (FMSO); assisting with the process of all materiel requests; respond to customer inquiries; process supply related reports; and assisting with the management of cataloguing information for existing materiel and catalogue new materiel. Additionally, this position also is responsible to assist with the strict management of VIDMAR storage locations used for Aircraft parts.
Accountabilities and Responsibilities
a. Assist with the Ordering of aircraft parts from supporting supply depots to support 402 Sqn operations;
b. Liaising with aircraft technicians from various sections within 402 Sqn in the ordering, procuring and return of accountable/ consumable stores to R&D;
c. Liaising with various members of the Weapons System Managers and Aircraft Engineering Office on the ordering/returning of aircraft components;
d. Liaising with LSO for the procurement of consumable or local purchase aircraft related items;
e. Assisting with the the management and creation of VIDMARS to support aircraft maintenance;
f. Point of contact for Aircraft Maintenance Supply Group; &
g. performing other duties as assigned by the MSO .
