- Basic description of duties: GENERAL: The Army Doctrine Centre (ADC) Deputy Branch Information Manager (BIM) is responsible to the ADC Production Coordinator for the maintenance of the Canadian Army Doctrine Library, the ADC Publication Tracker, the D365 ADC SharePoint pages, and other general information management related functions. The Deputy BIM would also assist the Army Publishing Office with information management.
PRIMARY DUTIES
1. Update and maintain the CADL as directed by ADC Production Coordinator, including periodic audits of CADL information, verifying accuracy of the information.
2. Ensure the ADC Publication Tracker is updated by ADC Desk Officers. Inform ADC Production Coordinator if updates are not being completed.
3. Provide a monthly SITREP regarding any Army Information Management direction, policies, practices, or other changes to ADC Production Coordinator.
4. Liaise with CADTC Formation IM section regarding implementation of any CA or CADTC directed IM direction, policies or practices.
5. Submit applicable TD requests for ADC personnel to the Claims Section for approval and processing.
6. When requested, update information on ADC D365 sites, pages or other information products online.
7. Assist other ADC Teams or members with SharePoint site layout, content, structure, and user interface.
8. Monitor ADC compliance with Army directed IM policy and practices. Report non-compliance ot ADC Production Coordinator.
9. Provide instruction and assistance to ADC members with respect to implementing any new information management or IT practices, processes, or procedures.
10. Other duties as assigned by the Chief ADC or ADC Production Coordinator.
