Basic description of duties: Responsible For: -Act as the 1 Sqn SME on Adv training and all aspects associated with the production of 1 Sqn led Adv level trg -Coordinate and direct all advanced training, including: overall administration of guest lecturers, budgeting and various correspondence associated with the RQ RCCS WO Crse; Formation Signal Operations Course (FSOC); CELE Operations Planning Course (COPC); Canadian Armed Forces Network Operations Course (CAF NET OPS). -Coordination of master lesson plans (MLP's) -Development of a depository on knowledge database for advanced training, including management of MLP's and course critiques -Confirm incremental staff requirements are identified in the CFTPO for advanced Trg courses -Provide feedback on proposed changes to MLP's and training plans with the aim of improving the overall instruction and learning environment -Ensure proper staffing has been satisfied to identify the training support requirements for specific course exercises and training -Coordinate a regular physical training program, comprising a minimum of three periods of one hour per week, during normal working hours -If required, assume the duties and responsibilities of course director for Adv Trg courses (NCM) -Fulfill any and all tasks assigned -Instruct courseware as required or assigned by OC 1 Sqn -Evaluate and provide points on the counselling of students to their syndicate leaders -Be a role model for students in terms of professionalism and deportment -Prepare and draft student course reports as required -Plan for all administrative support requirements for all Adv Trg courses -Ensure proper staffing of training support requirements for exercises and lessons present in each course -Maintain student training records (STR's) and instructor UER's -Command and control of assigned personnel -Custody and development of courseware -Custody and modifications to the course schedule in consultation with Standards -Coordination of feedback integration in conjunction with the Stds O -Guide and supervise all aspects of course training -Assign staff as lesson OPI's for courseware production and maintenance -Assign instructor workload commitments for teaching -Provide input for training plan (TP) amendments to standards for review and integration -Monitor course reports and other correspondence produced by the course staff for the conduct of training -Direct and participate in course improvement activities including weekly and end course critiques -Plan for all administrative support requirements for students and incremental staff -Ensure proper staffing of training support requirements for exercises and lessons present in course -Monitor staff for instructional ability -Provide counselling and guidance to course staff -Monitor the performance of course staff and provide feedback to OC 1 Sqn -Recommend and staff leave requests for course staff -Conduct course staff O Gps as required -Attend OC 1 Sqns O Gps as required -Attend military functions as required in support of lessons assigned -Prepare a course director and student handbook for the assigned course

All members employed within the CADTC formation will complete a minimum annual Number of 10 full or 20 part training days, a minimum periodic attendance of one duty period of every 60 days, and minimum essential activities, including the administrative and training requirements of the PRV for domestic operations tier 1, part 1, the IBTS mandated for CBG HQs and all external to CBGs (all trades), and mandatory training as determined by the ATA. 6. Once an applicant has been selected, the home unit must complete C of C concurrence in Monitor Mass. Res F members employed by CADTC on full-time Res Svc for a period of one year or more shall be posted to the CADTC PRL. Exceptions to this direction may be considered for those Res F members who contribute to HU activities and training. Such exceptions will be made on a case-by-case basis and shall be requested thru CoC to CADTC.
