  3. Secondary requirements of position, as applic: The following skills, experience and/or knowledge are considered as assets for this position (position incumbents will need to have/already have the following): a. Knowledge of monitor mass and CFTPO; b. DND 404s is considered a asset; c. Work week is Wednesday to Sunday; and d. Able to work some evenings, and be able to deploy outside of the local area in support of ISO courses.
  4. Basic description of duties: a. Report directly to the BSL 2IC/Course 2IC on all matters; b. Support Individual Training during Reserve Summer Training (RST) and Continuous Individual Training Year (CITY) as an instructor; c. Instructor on Courses IAW Qualification Standard Training Plan (QSTPs), and unit SOPs; d. Mentor junior instructors; e. Update courseware to include but not limited to Training Plan, lesson plans and power points, aide memoires, and course administration; f. Be prepared to travel to support 41 BSL and 3 CDTC individual training delivery duties; g. Responsible for the overall conduct and execution of the course, in close collaboration with the Course 2IC and course staff; h. Course planning, active administration, and visible participation in the course training; i. Course PT with the Course; j. Attend Instructor Standardization Training (IST) with course staff; k. Support in 41CBG collective training when available; l. Any other duties as tasked by chain of command; m. Support local Primary Reserves units when not otherwise tasked by 41CBG HQ; n. Fill in for the Course 2IC when required; o. Other tasks as assigned.
