- Basic description of duties:
A. The Senior Financial Services Administrator oversees the development and understanding of FSA duties among junior FSAs to increase their job-specific knowledge and overall financial knowledge at the Unit level;
B. Performing daily entries into DRMIS-Finance;
C. Monitoring the proper use of financial codes;
D. Processing claims;
E. Preparing financial statements;
F. Performing reconciliations;
G. Monitoring unit budgets;
H. Acting as the responsibility center administrator;
I. Monitoring financial operations;
J. Provide advice, financial assistance, and budgetary resources to support military activities;
K. Maintain the TAN register and DRMIS - Financial Reconciliation;
L. Process, finalize, and determine eligibility for all types of claims;
M. Track expenses;
N. Provide operational support;
O. Participate in Unit training as required;
P. Follow the proper procedure to track budget data via DRMIS-Finance;
Q. Maintain DRMIS-Finance updates and advise the Logistics Officer on budgetary status;
R. Supervision of professional development and training of junior FSAs;
S. Preparation of correspondence;
T. Maintain feedback notes and complete PARs for all subordinates;
U. Create Delegation of Authority; and,
V. Perform any other duties assigned by the Financial Services Manager.
