- 5 CRPG has a Class B Permanent for a WO/WO MOS ID/Occupation 90001-CBT ARMS - NCM to commence on 01-APR-2026 until 31-MAR-2029.Only personnel from the following Component/Sub-Component may apply for this position: Primary Reserve Force, Supplementary Reserve Force, Regular Force.

- Secondary requirements of position, as applic:
A. Experience in a Primary Reserve staff or operations environment;
B. Prior experience working in a CRPG HQ preferred;
C. Prior experience as a Canadian Ranger Instructor is an asset;
D. Strong interpersonal skills including the ability to cultivate and maintain strong professional relationships and work effectively in a team environment;
E. Good written and oral communications including experience with military writing and staff procedures;
F. Knowledge and skill in the use of the MS Office suite, CFTPO, DLN, MITE, Monitor Mass, and SharePoint;
G. Knowledge and experience in the CF Individual Training and Education System;
H. Ability to travel on TD within Canada;
I. Valid 404's or the ability to acquire them is required;
J. BWW/Cold weather operator with experience in winter operations and cold weather survival training preferred;
K. Ability to multi-task and work with minimal supervision;
L. Be proficient with CF weapons suite; and,
M. Have classroom and field instruction experience.
- Basic description of duties:
A. Support and advise in the planning, coordination, and execution of Unit level events such as operations, courses, and training exercises;
B. Act as liaison to external organizations for unit activities;
C. Supervise, synchronize, and coordinate the operation between Operations, Supply, Transport, Finance, Recruiting, and Orderly Room sections in order to support the successful outcome of unit activities;
D. Monitor and advise Adjutant/Operations Officer on unit training and Professional Development requirements and plans;
E. Be prepared to attend relevant Commander Update meetings as required;
F. Advise unit leadership on matters of Division and Brigade Operations; and,
G. Coordinate unit operations with Division G3 and other Canadian Ranger Patrol Groups.
