(2) knowledge of the Air Force Training Information Management System (ATRIMS)
- Basic description of duties: The ATT BTL Manager assists and coordinates the training and initial posting of the RCAF's air maintenance occupations.
Accountabilities (Vertical):
a) Administer students while on BTL including the collection and accuracy of personal information and career preferences;
b) Brief students on their initial RCAF career opportunities and expectations;
c) Monitor the RCAF training and maintenance communities for on the job training (OJT) and pre-positioning opportunities and challenges;
d) Prepare course loading and posting messages and update members' training files in ATRIMS;
e) Collect and report data with respect to production and capacity forecasts;
f) Coordinate with stakeholders such as Canadian Forces Recruiting Group (CFRG), Military Personnel Generation Training Group (MPGTG), Career Managers (CM), Air Maintenance Council (AMC), Air Engineering Technical Training (AETT), Training Establishments (TE), and civilian colleges to facilitate BTL placement and postings while awaiting training, for their training, and when completed their training;
g) Maintain a list of procedures (e.g. SOPs) and templates required for posting and course loading;
2. Accountabilities (Horizontal):
a) Advise AF Trg and RCAF TE on policies, regulations and orders impacting BTL management;
b) Collaborate with ATT BTL section remotely and in person; and
c) Promote cohesion and process improvement within RCAF BTL.
