  3. Secondary requirements of position, as applic:
    A. Experience in leadership role;
    B. Contracting and procurement experience an asset;
    C. Completion of the following courses an asset: Green Procurement, Contracting Direct with Trade, and Expenditure Management Course or COR 250/COR 451
    D. DRMIS and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) experience an asset; and
    E. Has valid DND 404s.
  4. Basic description of duties:
    A. Conduct and assist with QM business including supply, procurement, and materiel management;
    B. Supervise QM staff and ensure completion of tasks to the compliancy required as directed by the QM Supervisor (QM Supr);
    C. Inform QM Supr on the progress of tasks, obstacles/constraints, and personnel status;
    D. Communicate clearly in writing or verbally to team mbrs, CoC, internal clients, external units, and vendors;
    E. Assist the QM Supr in management and support of team mbrs including providing staffing coverage;
    F. Provide suitable and effective recommendations and solutions for issues within the section;
    G. Cross train with section mbrs so that basic service support is maintained;
    H. Act as QM Supervisor as required; and I. Other duties as required by QM Supr.
