Courses:
Quals: Prior to taking up their duties, the candidate must meet the security requirements applicable to members serving with the Canadian Cadet program, including obtaining the appropriate security clearance, the Police Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Screening (PRC / VSS). Any employment offer will be conditional on the certification that the chosen candidate meets the required security standards. In accordance with the Military Human Resources Records Procedures (MHRRP), the member's home unit will be contacted to ensure that the member has no administrative or disciplinary action pending against him.

- Basic description of duties:
A. Assist with the development of training plans, schedules, operations orders and completion of support requests for assigned training activities;
B. Assist with the coordination and delivery regionally directed activities (RDAs) and/or nationally directed activities (NDAs) as tasked;
C. Assist with the coordination and delivery of CIC training as required;
D. Coordinate the provision of service support for assigned training activities;
E. Ensure that the provision of support remains within approved activity budget and seek additional authorization when actual costs exceed approved allocation;
F. Liaise frequently with the Z Trg Os to share information on Corps / Squadron issues and successes;
G. Assist the Z Trg O with the development of support requirements for Corps / Squadron action plans;
H. Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to provide support to Corps / Squadron;
I. Organize and conduct assigned zone training activities;
J. Promote the role of senior cadets as peer leaders in Corps / Squadron;
K. Assist in the delivery of Performance Objective 513 – Attend Workshops and other Senior Cadet Training; and
L. Assist in budget management / expenditure tracking.

- Remarks: A. D. This temporary position is a replacement for a vacant Regular Force position. As permitted in CMP Instr 20/04, the period of service will end no later than the end date of the position or before if a Regular Force member is transferred. In such a case, 30 days notice will be given to the member as the service will no longer be required.
E. The member is responsible for contacting his/her home unit to request an REO appointment. The unit must ensure that the member has no outstanding administrative or disciplinary actions on file prior to appointment.
F. The employment of Regular Force annuitants is strictly controlled within the CAF and must be approved by the VCDS. This permanent position is advertised as an Option 1 or Option 2 reserve employment opportunity; however, preference will be given to properly qualified non-annuitant applicants.
