- Basic description of duties: The 19 Wing Production and Briefing Officer is responsible for the production and presentation of Intelligence Flight products and briefings.
1. Manage, prepare and present the weekly Wing Commander's Briefing as required.
2. Participate as a member of Wing Operations meetings, coordination meetings, Squadron and Wing-level meetings, VTCs and any meetings where Wing Intelligence Flight representation is required.
3. Assist in the production and presentation of Wing and Squadron level Threat Assessments and scheduled briefings as required.
4. Assist in the professional development, assessment and training of 19 Wing Intelligence personnel.
5. Maintain an excellent level of situational awareness on current events that could involve employment of 19 Wing personnel and/or assets by monitoring and reporting on pertinent information from various sources.
6. Participate and contribute to real world events, exercises and deployments that involve the Intelligence Flight as required.
7. Assist in and/or draft, develop and improvement of the Intelligence Flight Standard Operating Procedures.
8. Liaise with Wing Operations, the Wing Operations Centre, 407 Squadron, QRA and outside Intelligence agencies as required to ensure that timely, accurate and effective Intelligence support is provided at all times.
9.Participate in common RCAF mandated and Intelligence related training as required.
10. Advise the Wing Intelligence Officer on Wing related Intelligence issues (manpower, material and financial) which may or will impact the Wing's ability to conduct operations.
11. Assist in Intelligence-related QRA duties when able.
12. Perform the role of the Wing Intelligence Operations Officer and Wing Intelligence Officer when required.
13. Maintain an acceptable level of physical fitness to meet RCAF requirements.
14. Participate in deployments when able.
15. Provide PaCE input regarding all subordinates.
16. Perform other 19 Wing Intelligence Flight and secondary duties as required.
17. Complete elements of the 19 Wing and RCAF Annual Personnel Readiness Verification (APRV) as required.
