  1. RCAF Academy has a Class B Temporary for a Lt/Capt MOS ID/Occupation 00328-01-LOG to commence on 28-FEB-2025 until 30-SEP-2027.Only personnel from the following Component/Sub-Component may apply for this position: Regular Force, Primary Reserve Force, Cadet Org and Trg Service, Supplementary Reserve Force.

    1. Rank: Lt/Capt
      2Lt's eligible for immediate promotion to Lt will be considered, Lt's not eligible for promotion may also be considered and Maj's willing to permanently relinquish their rank to Capt will be considered if no other suitable applicants apply.

  4. Basic description of duties: The Admin O RCAF Academy is responsible to the DCmdt RCAF Academy: a. management of administrative support and processes; b. management of financial planning and recordkeeping; and c. provision of guidance to the Command Team on administrative personnel and financial matters. The Admin O is accountable to the DCmdt for: d. maintenance of efficient administrative and financial management of the RCAF Academy and the RCAF Academy Det Aldershot; e. management of the personnel and resources of the Orderly Room; f. liaison with the 16 Wing AR Flt for coordination of P Res administration; g. liaison with 16 Wing HQ, CFB Borden, 5 CDSB Det Aldershot, 14 Wing Greenwood, or other agencies as required; h. maintenance of the unit Establishment; i. production and dissemination of annual and special reports and returns; j. preparation of all unit out-going correspondence; k. coordination of performance review management within the Academy; l. conducting administration briefings to staff and students, m. provision of advice to the Command Team on personnel or financial matters as required; n. supervision of financial management activities within the Academy; o. preparation of the annual business plan and budget under the direction of the DCmdt; p. maintain a database/repository of admin/remedial/disciplinary issues q. monitoring the conduct, dress and deportment of all subordinates ensuring CAF, Base Borden, and 16 Wing policies are followed and take corrective action when necessary; and r. demonstrating a high level of leadership, working effectively as a team member, and ensure efforts are aligned with RCAF Academy mission, vision and policies. s.Other tasks or secondary duties may be assigned by supervisor.
