  1. 5 CDSB Det Aldershot has a Class B Temporary for a MCpl/MCpl MOS ID/Occupation 00010-01-INFTR to commence on 03-MAR-2025 until 02-MAR-2028.Only personnel from the following Component/Sub-Component may apply for this position: Primary Reserve Force, Supplementary Reserve Force, Regular Force.
  2. Essential requirements are as fols:
    1. Rank: MCpl/MCpl
      IAW ref A, applicants who are one rank lower or one rank higher may apply, however will only be considered in those exceptional circumstances where no other qualified candidate is available. If one rank higher is the only suitable applicant, mbr may be required to relinquish their rank for the period of employment.
    2. MOS ID: 00010-01-INFTR
      Inftr preferred, if no suitable Inftr applies other trades may be considered.
    3. Language: English essential
    4. Security clearance: Secret
    5. Health: BE MED/DENT FIT

  4. Basic description of duties:
    A. Be responsible for the daily receipt and booking of Training Assistance Request (TAR) for CAF courses, visiting units, cadet organizations and civilian agencies;
    B. Coordinating training activity for the courses and visiting units and each of Camp Aldershot's involved departments;
    C. Producing Provisions of Services for non-military organization using or training on Camp Aldershot;
    D. Conducting weekly Operation coord meetings for the camp and lodger units;
    E. Conducting TAR meetings every Friday for final coord of scheduled weekend training;
    F. Maintaining an organized Ops' office;
    G. Answering and directing phone calls for a multitude of queries involving Ops;
    H. Aiding with civilian agencies training on Camp; I. Being familiar with and utilizing the CFTPO system; and J. Being prepared to act as Ops Sgt in their absence.
