QS Manager (AKLW). f. May entail flex working hours, as 406 (M) training operates on a day/evening shift schedule (Mon-Fri, 0730-1530/1530-2330).
  4. Basic description of duties: a. Instructors are responsible to the CH148 Tech Course Director (CD); b. Participate in JTAR, QS and TP Working Groups when assigned; c. Prepare classroom for instruction, ensure training aids and equipment, including simulator, are reserved/scheduled prior to instruction; d. Provide instruction IAW current TP’s and MLP’s and use relevant instructional techniques; e. Monitor students for high standard of dress and deportment, conduct and morale; f. Advise CD of all occurrences which could affect the welfare of students and council students when problems arise g. Draft, as required, correspondence in the form of letters, memoranda, messages, course reports and other documents; h. Maintain currency on all relevant crse subject material, particularly when new changes are introduced to course TP’s and MLP’s; i. Ensure work area/space is free of hazards, training aids are secure, and that a high standard of housekeeping practices is maintained IAW General Safety, Environmental policies; j. Assume supervisor duties when assigned; k. Continually monitor and adhere to changes in the IETM, AF9000 MAP and Fleet WI’s; l. Be compliant with 1 CDN Div Orders for training, CFITES, QS, and TP for all applicable courses held at MHTC; m. Maintain discipline and know whereabouts of students at all times.
