- Secondary requirements of position, as applic: *Applicants who do not meet the language requirements of the position may be considered. However, priority will be given to those applicants who meet the language requirements of the position.
- Basic description of duties: -Direct supervision of Coy HQ and overall supervision of the remainder of Coy pers. Administer PDR/PER process for Coy. Visit and discuss with staff and students to monitor progress of trg.
-Control admin & discipline system in Coy to ensure dev of subordinates. Ensure professional development of subordinates including assignment of appointments in Coy, and conduct of trg (IBTS, TDC, Diversity, language, technical, as required).
-Ensure subordinates have a positive feedback system in Coy. Administer Coy Comd/Pl Comd Hours regularly. Ensure welfare of subordinates and their dependants.
-Ensure proactively that advances in both Technology and Trg methodology are monitored for impact on Coy. - Monitor scheduling of activities in the Coy.
-Maintain liaison with other Coys to ensure support requirements are being met. Work closely with Coys and Ops for optimization of all resources.
-Review results of trg to recognize trends and identify problem areas.
-Control all allocated resources and adjust allocations within assigned responsibilities and authorities.
-Action development concepts and resource changes within assigned resources. Forward and pursue similar initiatives for areas outside assigned resources.
-Ensure staff and students of the Coy are fully informed of policies, current activities and future plans. Ensure all correspondence, which leaves the Coy, is IAW directions and regulations. Monitor and comment on all crse reports/course critiques and trg observations. Ensure that channels of communication within the Unit and agencies outside the Unit are maintained and well used.
-Ensure administration and discipline, IAW regulations, is professionally done.
-Draft/amend/monitor/adjust Coy Business Plan.
-Advise Cmdt of breaches of conduct / performance / safety / security and take required actions.
-Be a role model for officers and NCMs under their command.
-Fill is as A/OC of other RCEME School Companies (Regimental Coy, Artisan Coy or Vehicle Coy) when required.
-Fill in as A/DCmdt RCEME School when required
-Complete other special projects as assigned by the CoC
