  3. Secondary requirements of position, as applic: a. Experience in a Primary Reserve staff or operations environment; b. Prior experience working in a CRPG HQ preferred; c. Strong interpersonal skills including the ability to cultivate and maintain strong professional relationships and work effectively in a team environment; d. Good written and oral communications including experience with military writing and staff procedures; e. Knowledge and skill in the use of the MS Office suite, DLN, Monitor Mass, and SharePoint; f. Ability to travel on TD within Canada; g. Valid 404's or the ability to acquire them is required; h. BWW/Cold weather operator with experience in winter operations and cold weather survival training preferred; i. Ability to multi-task and work with minimal supervision; j. Be proficient with CF weapons suite; and k. Have classroom and field instruction experience.
  4. Basic description of duties: a. General: The RQ is responsible for providing the daily logistical support to 3 CRPG in garrison and/or on deployment. b. Primary Duties: (1) Manage, mentor and assign suitable RQ staff to ensure that the following support functions are maintained in 3 CRPG Headquarters: (a) Acquisitions; (b) R&D; (c) Shipping and receiving; (d) Customer Accounts; (e) Customer Services; (f) MSE Dispatch; (g) 1st line maintenance of vehicle fleet; and (h) Contract Formation and Administration. (2) Provide expert advice to the OC Admin Coy and CQs wrt all functions of supply policy, procedures and procurements; (3) Liaise with BSup, BMaint, and 4 Div G4 for all inspections, SAVs and audits; (4) Source stores and eqpt reqr by Coys through BSup as requested and/or procure (LPO) within powers of authority with issued acquisition credit card; (5) Ensure acquisition card purchases are reconciled monthly; (6) Provide training to professionally develop all Material Management Techs and Vehicle Techs in 3 CRPG; and (7) BPT provide feedback notes on the CQs to their respective OC's for PACE review. c. Secondary Duties: (1) Unit Envir O; (2) Unit GH and S Offr; (3) Admin Coy SM; and (4) BPT to be tasked as Duty Officer.
