- Basic description of duties: 2 CAD Logistics Support is accountable to the HQ CO to:
a. Assist in the annual Level 3 Business Planning cycle;
b. In collaboration with the 2 CAD HQ Admin O, monitor and oversee the unit budget, actively working with the FSA to ensure that all expenditures are being properly tracked and accurate reports are being including Delegation of Authority for all Level 3 Cost Centres (AF Trg, AF PD, AF TSI and 2 CAD HQ);
c. Assist with PACE annual functions;
d. Coordinate all Access to Information and Ministerial Inquires for the Level 3 HQ;
e. Provide guidance and coordinate file preparation for local and higher-level review and/or approval;
f. Research data and information, prepare documentation and presentation and participate in working group, meetings and other consultative processes;
g. Coordinate and advise on all personnel administration issues while ensuring the completion of administrative reports and processes required throughout the year;
h. Interpret policy and provide guidance for the HQ personnel on CF policy issues;
i. Supervise HQ Orderly Room when required including professional development and training of FSA and HRA staff;
j. Monitor Force Test results for HQ personnel and action requirements as applicable;
k. Coordinate Hospitality and Event requests on behalf of HQ;
l. 2 CAD Logistics Support is designated as Acting Admin O during Admin O extended periods of absence;
m. Support to 1 CAD/17 Wing ref SUP for 2 CAD HQ, SCAs, MAAP, etc; and
n. other duties as assigned by HQ CO.
