  1. 3 CRPG has a Class B Permanent for a Sgt/Sgt MOS ID/Occupation 00003-01-NCM to commence on 09-DEC-2024 until 08-DEC-2027.Only personnel from the following Component/Sub-Component may apply for this position: Primary Reserve Force, Supplementary Reserve Force, Regular Force.

  4. Basic description of duties: The Training NCO is responsible primarily for Individual training but will also backfill for Collective Training as necessary. Primary Duties: a. Ensure all relevant training documentation, lesson plans etc. for individual training are up-to-date and delivered to instructors prior to event; b. Be an instructor for unit level courses and annual training; c. Act as RSO for small arms ranges; d. Conduct liaison visits to verify unit training (DP1 and DP2) is being adhered to as directed; e. Liaise with 4 CDN Div for all Individual Training requirements as needed; f. Be required to temporary replace a Canadian Ranger Instructor or Junior Canadian Ranger Instructor as required; g. Maintain knowledge of Canadian Ranger (CR) and Junior Canadian Ranger (JCR) training programs in order to assist in planning; h. Assist/Liaise in planning all individual training events CR and JCR; i. Maintain training system knowledge to include 4 Cdn Div and CFB Borden specific systems and reporting chains; j. Assist in Guardian data input and management; k. Maintain training files; l. BPT attend higher HQ training meetings as necessary; m. BPT act as Trg WO in their absence; and n. BPT act as Ops WO in their absence. Secondary Duties: a. Act a Unit Duty Officer in rotation; b. Coordinate Training calendar; c. Unit Librarian; d. Contracting outside agencies for Training programs e. CFTPO in support of Ops; f. Charter Flight booking; g. Maintain training cell specific equipment and ADP; h. Creation and submission of TSRs as necessary; i. Fire Warden; j. RPO Rep for 3 CRPG HQ; and k. Other duties as directed.
