- 5 Fd Regt has a Class B Permanent for a Sgt/Sgt MOS ID/Occupation 00376-01-FSA to commence on 13-JAN-2025 until 12-JAN-2028.Only personnel from the following Component/Sub-Component may apply for this position: Primary Reserve Force, Supplementary Reserve Force, Regular Force.

- Secondary requirements of position, as applic:
A. It is desirable that the candidate have previous experience in a Fin Sgt position in a PRes unit.
B. Possess in-depth knowledge of all aspects of reserve pay and administration, travel and central registry.
C. Provide initial counselling to subordinates.
D. Experience in the development of subordinates WRT MOSID, and trade related progression
E. Complete PDRs and PERs on subordinates.
F. Provide detailed advice or assessment to the C Clk, Adjt or CO regarding matters of Reserve Admin or Fin matters.
G. Possess knowledge and skills necessary in the maintenance of good working relations with a Higher HQ.
H. Must demonstrate the ability to research regulations and orders.
I. Must be proficient with RPSR, Monitor MASS, ClaimsX, Guardian, MSG Drafter, Advanced EXCEL
J. Excellent written and Oral communication skills.
K. The following are assets: experience with DRMIS including acquisition card reconcilliation, Local Purchase Orders, creating
commitments, payment of invoices, review of unit budget
- Basic description of duties:
A. Enter transactions in DRMIS;
B. Assist Fin O in controlling the unit budget and Non-Public Funds;
C. Make travel arrangements for pers going on TD IAW CFTDTI, process claims, and R and Q reqs;
D. Must be familiar with relevant financial regulations and publications;
E. Maintain qualifications related to FAA Sect 32, 33 and 34 signing authorities;
F. Maintain qualifications related to:
(1) Expenditure Management Crse;
(2) Green Procurement Crse;
(3) Contract Certification Crse;
(4) Controlled Technology and Access Transfer; and
(5) Functional knowledge required for Microsoft Office Suite, Claims-X, RPSR, DRMIS.
G. The Fin Sgt must be available to participate in all unit activities and work nights and some weekends.
