      Experience and knowledge of the DND/CAF Project Approval and Contracting Processes; Understanding of Government Contracting Regulations Experience as an HQ Staff Officer an asset; Proficiency in written and verbal communications and staff duties.

  3. Secondary requirements of position, as applic: Ability to manage and prioritize a high volume of information and respond to tasks with tight deadlines; Experience in Capital Projects
  4. Basic description of duties: Establish strong links with DG Proc Svcs - ADM (MAT), PSPC in order to understand policy changes affecting the Command, analyze the impact on CMP L2 units and work with affected L2s to achieve compliance; P Tech Svcs lead on Business Planning; Disseminate contracting policy and provide support and oversight on contracting requirements of CMP L2s; Oversight on L1 contracts; Conduct SAVs / SIVs; Ensure current and valid delegation of contracting authorities is maintained for MILPERSCOM / CMP; Staffing of contracting irregularities and confirming orders requiring MILPERSCOM Comd or higher review and approval.
