  1. RCSU EASTERN has a Class B Permanent for a MCpl/MCpl MOS ID/Occupation 00359-01-COATS-GS NCM to commence on 19-DEC-2024 until 18-DEC-2027.Only personnel from the following Component/Sub-Component may apply for this position: Cadet Org and Trg Service, Primary Reserve Force.

      In the absence of a qualified COATS member, a Primary Reserve Force member may be considered for the position with the condition that the member completes a component transfer to COATS. Limited options for a member to remain in the Primary Reserve Force may be possible.

  4. Basic description of duties:
    A. Enter member data in HRMS/Guardian, RPSR and Monitor Mass;
    B. Complete annual stripping of personnel files and archiving of unit files;
    C. Prepare documentation for signature;
    D. Enter data into Web SCPS for Reliability Screening/Security Clearances for members;
    E. Prepare Class A and B documentation and enter data in HRMS/Guardian/RPSR;
    F. Prepare Records of Employment (ROE) using ROE Web;
    G. Prepare relocation request documentation;
    H. Prepare casualty administration; I. Report administrative pay and benefit issues; and J. Prepare unit administration including in/out routine, certificates and medals, entitlements, compensation benefits, establishment changes, PRV, annual leave, leave cash out, maternity / parental leave and MPRR.

  9. Remarks: A. Applicants must submit an application package including: cover letter and resume, B. This is a permanent Class B position for 3 years with the possibility of extension up to 3 years in accordance with Ref G. The applicant will be a staff member of RCSU East. Initially, he/she will serve as a J1 Sr HR Adm OR, but can expect to be assigned other duties and possibly serve in another role within RCSU for the duration of the employment period. F. The employment of regular force annuitants is strictly controlled within the CAF and must be approved by the VCDS. This permanent position is advertised as an Option 1 or Option 2 reserve employment opportunity; however, preference will be given to properly qualified non-annuitant applicants. In the absence of a properly qualified SAIOC or primary reserve member, regular force annuitants will be considered and may be offered the position on an Option 1 contract basis with employment limitations on the number of days employed annually. The annuitant's periods of employment shall not exceed three years in the position to which the position is to be posted for competition through the OER.
