  4. Basic description of duties: 1. The RQMS reports directly to the Support Tpe O and is responsible for the supervision of both the Supply and Tpt Det. 2. The main tasks for the RQMS are as follows:
    A. Be the technical advisor to the Support Tpe O concerning the supply and transport when necessary,
    B. Ensure the sound management of the unit's materiel resources including vehicles, rations, fuel, weapons, ammunition or any other materiel capacity,
    C. Ensure the respect of all R&O applying to supply and transport,
    D. Good knowledge of the CFSS, DRMIS, SGPV and Microsoft Office Suite softwares,
    E. Possess a valid DND 404 allowing the driving of commercial vehicles, LSVW, Milcots, MSVS and B11 type vehicles,
    F.Generate all reports required by the supervisor and by the 35 CBG HQ G4,
    G. Maintain a good work relationship with the Bde's G4 and all other 35 CBG unit's RQMS,
    H. Maintain a good work relationship with the Support Tpe from 5 CMBG QGET, I. Any other tasks as required by the supervisor. 3. The RQMS is the holder of the unit's main credit card. The RQMS must get and maintain all qualifications concerning the FAA Art 32 and Art 34, procurement and green procurement. 4. The RQMS must absolutely have good knowledge of the radio, satellite and date communication equipement in order to facilitate the management of equipment movement. 5. The RQMS will be required to participate in all the unit's training activities and must be available wednesday evenings as well as some weekends.

Statement on the Engagement of CFSA Part I Annuitants: The Management Framework issued at VCDS 5323-1 (DGRC) 6 March 2012, which remains in force at this time, affords that annuitants in receipt of pension benefits under the CFSA Part I who endeavor to undertake a period of Reserve Force service in fulfillment of a requirement anticipated to last longer than one year shall rejoin and recontribute to the CFSA Part I under the terms of "Option 2" at para 2.13 of CMP instr 20/04. This is the guiding principle on which an AFC decision was based and promulgated by the CDS at 5323-1 (D Res) 5 Mar 2012. Notwithstanding this guiding principle, certain circumstances may exist where an application may be made to VCDS requesting an exception which would permit engagement of a CFSA Part I annuitant under the terms of "Option 1" (maximum 330 days in any 365 day period).
