      Preference will also be given to candidates who have the "AJCU - Information Operations Officer, AJCU - Information Operations Officer, AJIC - CIMIC Staff Officer" qualification, and to candidates who have qualification in more than one of the Info Ops, PSYOPS, and CIMIC realms, and to those with operational / work experience in this areas. 2. Strong knowledge of the CAF Administrative procedures and programs e.g. Monitor Mass, Remedial Measures, PaCE; 3. Experience in the supervision, management, direction and leadership of subordinates and other course staff in a school or training environment; and 4. Excellent organizational ability, and the ability to multi-task.

  3. Secondary requirements of position, as applic: 1. Recent instructional experience. Experience and proven ability to teach a wide variety of students from the rank of Cpl to Col as well as foreign military personnel and civilians; 2. Strong knowledge of MS Office suite products; 3. Significant experience in the administration of student files, counselling process and preparation for Performance Review Boards (PRB); 4. Experience with advanced instructional techniques, capability to coach and develop other instructor's teaching skills, assist them in adapt their own style towards civilians, high ranking CAF members and other government departments; 5. Experience providing assistance and guidance to course staff with regards to planning and oversight of course administration; and 6. Willingness and ability to move internal to PSTC as an organization.
  4. Basic description of duties: GENERAL The Officer Instr is responsible for the administrative and organizational conduct of any of the individual training dealing with Info Ops, CIMIC or PSYOPS as part of the in-house course, specifically concerning venues, materials, and other required support. The Officer Instr is responsible for the conduct and maintenance of lectures as designated Subject Matter Expert (SME) in the PSTC unit Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). The Officer Instr must also act as a leader for those who are undergoing IT. In this regard the Officer Instr must gain trainee confidence and remain open to their requests and suggestions for courseware content of delivery improvements or amendments. The Officer Instr must act as a mentor and be prepared to tailor the delivery of the material to students, providing real-world examples when possible; thus promoting student understanding. PRIMARY DUTIES 1. Assisting the Cell Leader with the development, coordination, administration and delivery of courses and training for which PSTC is designated FCo
    E. Courses and/or Training may be conducted in-house in Kingston or anywhere inside of Canada; 2. The development and maintenance of POs/EOs, lesson plans and exercises for courses and those subjects for which designated the unit SME; 3. Develop and maintaining expertise in the subjects as designated SME; and 4. Provide leadership to course staff and students to ensure the team works efficiently to deliver the most relevant, effective and realistic training possible given time and the resource constraints. SECONDARY DUTIES 1. Provide assistance to other PSTC courses and training, whether inside or outside of Canada, as directed by CoC; 2. At all times act in a professional manner, in accordance with the CAF ethos and values; 3. Maintain readiness in all respects to support CAF operations and training; and 4. Any other duties as assigned by CoC, including perform the duties of Cell Lead, Sqn 2IC, or Sqn IC when required.
