  1. 32 CBG HQ has a Class B Permanent for a Maj/Maj MOS ID/Occupation 00002-01-Officer to commence on 11-NOV-2024 until 10-NOV-2027.Only personnel from the following Component/Sub-Component may apply for this position: Primary Reserve Force, Supplementary Reserve Force, Regular Force.

  4. Basic description of duties: a. Direct report to 32 CBG COS and responsive to TBG CO. b. Set conditions to contribute to successful TBG training cycle through coordination, drafting of exercise instructions, training cycle instructions, exercise play correspondence etc. c. Coordinate with 4 Cdn Div / JTFC G37-J37 on TRILLIUM series DOMOP exercises. d. Maintain close coordination with TBG Lead Unit for training. e. Ensure key TBG staff are regularly informed of DOMOP situation through Op LENTUS JTFC J2 updates and other means. f. As required, establish working relations, and coordinate closely with local Emergency Management POCs in the development and execution of joint DOMOP training exercises. g. When required, serve as ACOS / Acting CO with applicable financial and Acting CO authorities (as assigned) for 32 CBG HQ in the absence of the COS. h. Serve as 32 CBG POC for 4 CDSG Ops Services Toronto. Attend requisite 4 CDSG Grn Toronto meetings on behalf of 32 CBG (incl Grn Coord and OIC Armory meetings). i. Be familiar with key 4 CDSG Grn Toronto staff, primarily Grn Coord and Grn SM. j. Maintain overall situational awareness of Bde armory infrastructure issues and work closely with 4 CDSG Ops Svcs (Toronto) to resolve them. k. Serve as HQ DCO and work closely with HQ SM and HQ Adjt staff regarding HQ personnel management. l. Working with HQ Adjt, draft the annual Unit Historical Report for DH
    H. m. BPT act as A/Adjt in the absence of the HQ Adjt and A/Adjt, focusing on HQ pers, financial, and social aspects. n. Participate in all CUBs, monthly Comd's O Gps, weekly COS coords, and biweekly HQ meeting with COS team. o. Serve as Bde IMO. p. Maintain and update Bde IM policy as required. q. Mentor and oversee IM-2 regarding Bde Information Management. r. BPT supervise Admin Asst (CR-4). s. Be knowledgeable about DND employee administration including pers management, Public Service Performance Management portal, and Cdn School of Public Service platforms. t. Manage applicable performance evaluations for CAF subordinate(s) and civilian employee(s), if assigned. u. Supervise HQ Jr Officers' AJOSQ training. v. BPT to serve as HQ USO as required. w. BPT to serve as an RLO as required. x. BPT to execute miscellaneous tasks and duties as required.
