      Competency Remarks: -Experience with training tasks, such as instruction, lesson plans development and management, and qualifications tracking. -Extensive knowledge of the CAF supply system in order to instruct other MM Techs on their tasks/responsibilities prior to deployment overseas. -Knowledge in the use of a computer and common software, including Microsoft Office Suite. -Experience of Monitor Mass, including reports, course loading, nominations and tracking. -Extensive knowledge of applicable CAF supply policies and orders (SAM, FAM, PAM, CDIO, etc) -Able to work as a team in a high tempo environment. -Must be able to work with minimal supervision. -Must have good organizational skills.
      -Valide DND 404 -Training /courses must be taken upon hiring if it has not already been completed by the member. The member may be required to take further training as needed.

  3. Secondary requirements of position, as applic: -Strong oral communication skills. -Display initiative and creative solutions in problem solving. -Be ready to deploy and/or take charge of any other tasks, as required.
  4. Basic description of duties: 3 CSU is an operational high readiness unit and its members could be frequently required to deploy overseas or on other tasks/exercises. The selected member will work in the Specialized Training section of the unit, but upon operational need, member could be deployed and/or rotated to other sections of the unit. As Spec Trg 2IC, your tasks will be to: -Provide supervision to subordinates and report to the section IC; -Provide guidance of applicable CAF supply policies and regulations (SAM, PAM, etc); -Provide guidance and technical expertise on DRMIS MM usage and transactions; -Provide training and instruction to other MM Techs on their supply tasks/responsibilities prior to deployment overseas. -Prepare specialized supply training, including lesson plans development and management, as well as travelling within Canada and/or overseas. -Follows up on training schedules and prepare equipment as required; -Assist Mil Trg section as required for weapon handling, CBRN, First Aid and other courses; -Complete other tasks as directed by the Co
    C. The selected member will participate in all unit activities including PT, range, gas hut and others. The unit's schedule is from 06:30 to 14:30 and no telecommuting will occur. The selected member may be on the list of Cpl's on duty.
