  1. 32 CBG HQ has a Class B Permanent for a Sgt/Sgt MOS ID/Occupation 00003-01-NCM to commence on 07-NOV-2024 until 06-NOV-2027.Only personnel from the following Component/Sub-Component may apply for this position: Regular Force, Primary Reserve Force, Supplementary Reserve Force.
  2. Essential requirements are as fols:
    1. Rank: Sgt/Sgt
      Suitable MCpls eligible for promotion will be considered if no eligible Sgt applies. WOs might also be considered but would be required to relinquish their rank to Sgt for the entire period of employment.
    2. MOS ID: 00003-01-NCM
      Any trade can apply
    3. Language: English essential
    4. Security clearance: Secret
    5. Health: BE MED/DENT FIT

  3. Secondary requirements of position, as applic:
    A. Strong knowledge of recruiting policies and procedures, enrolment, recruitment and training standards;
    B. Strong knowledge of the Army Reserve Structure, Entry Plans, MOSIDs and Roles;
    C. Strong understanding of administrative procedures and policies governing privacy, discrimination and diversity;
    D. Experience drafting written reports and producing updates;
    E. Experience presenting briefings;
    F. Possess the appearance, dress and physical fitness that reflects the ethos of the Canadian Armed Forces;
    G. Ability to communicate effectively and convey a clear message;
    H. Ability to listen, discuss and establish good relations with young adults; I. Willing to work irregular hours, including evenings and weekends; J. Has or can obtain a driver's license (DND 404); K. Possess problem solving and interpersonal skills capable of dealing with challenging and uncomfortable situation in a courteous and professional manner.
  4. Basic description of duties:
    A. Maintain a professional Recruiting Office within Fort York Armoury;
    B. Contribute to the general attraction plan and supervise its execution;
    C. Synchronize recruit throughput with BMQ;
    D. Respond to information and support requests from local units;
    E. Supervise the throughput of applicant processing through each team;
    F. Resource the team with all necessary recruiting information aids and equipment;
    G. Prepare and submit reports;
    H. Perform other assigned tasks; and I. Able to work evenings/weekends as required.
